    4. Log in to Google Analytics using your Google account credentials.

    5. Choose the appropriate Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property for your website and grant Delve AI the required access. Our system then automatically begins generating personas for your site.

Step 2: Integrate Google Search Console

Adding Google Search Console (GSC) access improves the quality of your website personas by incorporating organic search keywords data. To connect GSC to Delve AI:

    1. Navigate to Settings (at the bottom of the left navigation bar) in your Delve AI dashboard.

    2. Go to Integrations > Google Search Console.

    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize Delve AI to access your GSC data for the relevant website property.

Make sure you select the GSC property that corresponds to the same website as your GA4 property connected in Step 1.

Step 3: Enable organization tracking (for B2B websites)

Organization tracking uses automatic reverse look-up of IP addresses to identify companies visiting your website. This feature is highly recommended for B2B websites and helps you:

    • see the companies that visit your website,
    • receive real-time email/notification alerts when target companies visit,
    • enrich personas with company data, and
    • automatically classify B2B website visitors into groups like business prospects (leads for account-based marketing), job seekers/recruiters, investors, government, partners/competitors, media/press, service providers, and blog readers.

To enable organization tracking, go to Settings > Organizations page in your Delve AI dashboard and follow the step-by-step instructions on that page. The setup varies slightly depending on how Google Analytics is installed on your website.

We use our OrgInfo service to identify the organizations behind each IP address. For this, our JavaScript code snippet needs to be inserted into every page of your website. It can be either done with a few clicks via Google Tag Manager or manually using your developer resources.

Option 1. Automatic set-up using Google Tag Manager

    Important - Permission requirements:

    • You will need Edit Permission (not just Viewer access) for the associated Google Analytics property, as two custom dimensions, OrgInfo Service Provider and OrgInfo Network Domain, will be added in GA4 for organization tracking.
    • You will need Edit + Publish permissions for the authenticating user account in Google Tag Manager (GTM) as our OrgInfo tag will be inserted on every page and the changes then published.

Once the above permission requirements are met, the setup can be completed in two easy steps:

    1. On the Settings > Organizations page in your Delve AI dashboard, authorize Delve AI using your Google Tag Manager credentials to:

    1. Add OrgInfo Service Provider and OrgInfo Network Domain custom dimensions in Google Analytics, and
    2. Set up OrgInfo integration in Google Tag Manager.

  • To increase visitor privacy, IP anonymization is automatically turned ON by our platform for users/businesses from countries with GDPR or similar privacy laws. You can also turn it ON explicitly on the same page. When turned ON, the last part of the visitor’s IP address will be removed, thereby making it anonymous.

  • Update your website's Privacy Policy document to mention your usage of the OrgInfo service, along with the mention of your usage of Google Analytics.
  • Delve AI organizations tracking status report

If you have followed the steps above carefully, you should start to see resulting Organization/Leads (B2B) data on the Delve AI dashboard within 36-48 hours.

Option 2. Set up for gtag.js-based Google Analytics installation

Important - Permission requirements: You will need Edit Permission (not just Viewer access) for the associated Google Analytics property, as two custom dimensions, OrgInfo Service Provider and OrgInfo Network Domain, will be added in GA4 for organization tracking.

If you have installed Google Analytics on your site using gtag.js (instead of Google Tag Manager), the setup involves one automated step and one manual step:

    1. Authorize with your Google Analytics credentials to automatically add OrgInfo Service Provider and OrgInfo Network Domain custom dimensions in Google Analytics.
